NAMMOUR Marc & Loïc LANTOINE - Fiers et Tremblants - Concerts

In 2010, when two lovers of words met and sparred with a few quips at the Bataclan during an evening in support of the newspaper L’Humanité, sparks flew. Comebacks swirled to the rhythm of the sound and took shape, fuelling their desire to work together. Ten years later, Fiers et Tremblants came to be. This pseudonym, evocative of a thousand lives, reveals rather than it hides Marc Nammour and Loïc Lantoine, two artists with a well-stocked discography. Although one doesn’t really call himself a rapper and the other not a singer, the two nevertheless merged in this four-handed writing process, rapping their new texts and reinventing French hip hop. They proclaim what they are, proud of their journey, their tenacity and their resistance to stupidity. They sing about what drives them, trembling in the face of doubt, uncertainty and unanswered questions. In their live shows, they lay bare their poetic words anchored in the reality of the two artists, admirably served by the musicians of La Canaille in a delicate atmosphere with urban sounds.
