KURVERS Maxime & SIEFERT Marion & MALIS Marie-José - "Pièce d'Actualité N° 16: Güven" - Festivals

Pièce d’actualité n°16: Güven is a stand-up show, a testimony, a three-part joust by a single performer, Güven to be precise. A guy from Auber like many others, he says of himself. A kid who knows all about the jubilant and philosophical machinations of theatre, according to Marie-José Malis, who discovered him during a casting session for a neighbourhood play at the Théâtre de la Commune. She then brought together two associate artists, Maxime Kurvers and Marion Stiéfert in a three-act production to light up the stage. The tribe was formed around the writing of this play, in which the performer becomes the subject, actor and playwright. With the sincerity of a documentary and the courage of emotions, this contemporary cabaret tells the story of an encounter with the theatre, of life entering the stage and of a bridge builder between the stage and the world – a moving and funny love song to theatre.
