Los Años tells the story of a person at two very different points in his life, at 30 and 60. Manuel, a young architect, embarks on a film project about buildings in Buenos Aires that are exact copies of European buildings. While scouting, he meets a child and follows and films him… Thirty years later, what has become of them? A fascinating back-and-forth begins between five characters from the same family who cross time and space to escape from fallen dreams and revive utopias. Couples, friendships, loneliness and power come together between youth and maturity. In an impressive set design enhanced with images of Buenos Aires, Mariano Pensotti’s writing carries us away in a game of moving mirrors.
