Belgian pianist and composer Pieter Savenberg blends minimalism with emotional depth, creating music that invites listeners to slow down and feel.   His third album Into The Light released in September 2025. The works tell of self-acceptance and finding the right soil to blossom. He toured Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Luxembourg with this album.   A fourth album is set to release in the fall of 2026, produced by two-time Grammy winner Antonio Pulli.   Pieter Savenberg initially trained as a trumpet player. Passionate and ambitious, but so self-critical and anxious of the judgement of others that he suffered from severe stage fright. Eventually, he lost the enjoyment of playing the trumpet and went on to graduate as a civil engineer.   When life came to a standstill in 2020, he felt drawn to the piano and discovered that this instrument was a particularly good extension of his soul, to express what cannot be put into words. He found comfort in sitting at the piano for hours and playing softly and intuitively what flowed from his heart. The real blessing was that behind the piano, his inner critic was silent.    After sharing his works online, he quickly reached millions of listeners from all over the world on the streaming platforms.   In December 2023, Savenberg played his first concert as a pianist, performing his own work. The day after the concert, he called his employer and resigned.   A beautiful period followed, in which a lot fell into place.    "Your music touched an existential layer where only music can soothe."
