Description

Semâ, the whirling dance of the whirling dervishes, is the title of this production. It's a choreographic work of trance and alliance for eight dancers from the four corners of Europe, in collaboration with an astonishing and original musical group - the electro-traditional duo formed by composer Mathias Delplanque, joined this time by percussionist Philippe Foch. Once again, Compagnie Linga plays with the alchemy created by improbable artistic encounters, offering us a hymn to the living interdependence, constantly being rebuilt, of dancer and musician, melody and gesture, mutually nourished in the flow of movement.     DISTRIBUTION Linga Company   Katarzyna Gdaniec & Marco Cantalupo, idea and choreography Mathias Delplanque & Philippe Foch, original music Performers : Martin Angiuli, Enzo Blond, Bonni Bogya, Aude-Marie Bouchard, András Engelmann, Lia Ujčič, Csaba Varga, Cindy Villemin   A co-production by Compagnie Linga and l'Octogone, Théâtre de Pully.
