Astral Projection - immersive short films - Cinema

"Astral Projection" is a series of immersive short films lasting around 30 minutes in total, exploring dystopian futures, indeterminate quantum mechanics and immersive architectural worlds. These audiovisual experiences invite audiences to rethink our relationship with the environment, reality and perception.   > "Next", a powerful immersive experience by French artist Jérémy Oury, transports you to a future where humanity has irreversibly transformed its environment. It offers a nightmarish, predictive vision of what awaits us if we don't profoundly change our lifestyles. The idea is to present, using material learned from artificial intelligence, a silent witness to this transformation, a captivating exploration of our destiny through devastated landscapes.   > "Undetermined outcome", created by German artists Rocco Helmchen (visuals) and Johannes Kraas (sound), is an experimental audiovisual work attempting to imagine something that, in reality, cannot be visualized. By stripping away the layers of the real world, it attempts to visualize the strange cosmos of quantum mechanics, and deconstructs reality in the indeterminable realm of fundamental particles.   > "Local Dystopias in the Global Utopia", developed by Sergey Prokofyev (Ukraine), is a powerful immersive experience that transports you into a future where man has irrevocably transformed his environment. A nightmarish, predictive vision of what awaits us if we don't radically transform our lifestyles. The idea is to show, drawing on material learned from artificial intelligence, a silent witness to this transformation, a gripping exploration of our destiny through devastated landscapes.
