Arcadi Volodos concerts are rare and exceptional moments. In December 2021, in Geneva, the pianist had left “a delirious room, standing up to proclaim his cheers”. So here he is back for our greatest pleasure. For more than 20 years, the interpretations of Arcadi Volodos have amazed the public. Master of an extraordinary and flawless technique, which he puts entirely at the service of interpretation, Arcadi creates universes specific to each composer, to each work. His executions are the result of long reflections on the works. He seeks, in his own words, “to ignite the hearts of the public, to take them with the music to unsuspected possibilities of ascent”. Born in Saint-Petersburg in 1972, Arcadi Volodos began his studies in singing and conducting. He did not seriously study the piano until 1987, at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, then at the Moscow Conservatory with Alina Egiazarova and in Paris and Madrid with Dmitri Bashkirov. His famous concert at Carnegie Hall in 1996 established him as the great pianist of his generation. Disabled and fone sales, please go on Ville de Genève ticket online sales Programme F.
