Association Musika
For the 1st time in Geneva the Association Musika presents for the first time in Geneva the Zukerman Chamber Players, a project formed in 2002, with which the famous violinist, violist, conductor and pedagogue presented himself to the four corners of the world. The Zukerman Trio that the Geneva public will have the pleasure of listening to on April 13 emerged from the Zukerman Chamber Players in 2013. In 2020, pianist Shai Wosner joined Zukerman and cellist Amanda Forsyth to enthusiastically continue the interpretation of literature for trio and duo. Schumann, Saint-Saëns and Beethoven are on the program for this evening of the Musika Season which promises to be very romantic. Pinchas Zukerman has been a sensation on the music scene for over 40 years. His extraordinary musicality, his prodigious technique and his high artistic standards never cease to amaze audiences and critics. More than 100 concerts, all over the world, are on the program of Pinchas Zukerman: principal guest conductor of the Royal Philharmonic of London and associate artist of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, artistic director of the Winter Festival of New Jersey. He is also a guest conductor or soloist with the greatest orchestras in the world (Cleveland, Boston, Berlin, Salzburg, Israel, etc.) In addition to numerous recitals with the pianist Yefim Bronfman and chamber music concerts with the Zukerman Trio. He also oversees the Pinchas Zukerman Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music, where he pioneered the application of distance learning techniques to the arts. “Some people stay forever young… Zukerman remains the young virtuoso we’ve always known, resourceful and expressive, musically captivating, technically flawless, gifted with great ease. As usual, it was an immense pleasure to listen to him. » – The Los Angeles Times Disabled and fone sales, please go on le site de de la billetterie de la Ville de Genève Programme Schumann - Phantasiestücke Op. 88 Saint-Saëns - Piano Trio in F major, op.18 --- Beethoven - Piano Trio in D major, Op. 70 No. 1 ("Ghosts")
