First time recital of Simon Trpceski in Lausanne Simon Trpčeski has been hailed not only for his powerful virtuosity and deeply expressive approach, but also for his charismatic stage presence. His numerous tours present him as a soloist of large orchestras. His solo recitals are rarer and his coming to Lausanne is a first, hence the singularity of his concert on February 4, 2024. Simon will present a repertoire around variations, taken from his latest CD, hailed by critics. Launched onto the international stage twenty years ago on the BBC New Generation Artists programme, in an incredibly fast-paced career that spans no cultural or musical boundaries, Simon Trpčeski has collaborated with more than a hundred orchestras on four continents and with today's great conductors. Several recordings have received prestigious awards: Diapason d'Or, Gramophone: Editor's Choice and Debut Album for concertos by Rachmaninoff, Prokovieff, and others.
