Evoéh – At the crossroads of time and cultures The Evoéh group was born out of a desire to bring together the musical memories that span the Mediterranean and beyond. Its music explores the richness of traditional repertoires – Sephardic, Andalusian, Ottoman, popular – to make them resonate with our present, in an approach that is both respectful and inventive. Rather than limiting itself to historical reconstruction, Evoéh takes a lively approach: ancient and traditional music becomes a source of creation, improvisation and encounter. Far from museums, these songs continue to vibrate, circulate and open up new horizons.  In concert, Evoéh captivates with its energy, refinement and sincerity. The diversity of timbres and languages arouses wonder, while the human closeness creates a warm atmosphere. The audience is invited to let themselves be carried away on a sound journey that crosses the shores of the Mediterranean and beyond, to rediscover a shared heritage that is constantly being reinvented.
