La Cité Bleue
La Cité Bleue Genève
Two ensembles from Geneva, who have constantly crossed paths on stages here and abroad without ever collaborating, are finally putting together a joint project! It was only natural that they should commission a transcription of Prokofiev's work, rich with poignant strings and large brass parts, to seal their collaboration. Juliet (performed by Terpsycordes) and Romeo (performed by the Geneva Brass) will show that this unusual encounter between brass and strings can be intense and beautiful, in the image of the impossible love described by Shakespeare.
