MAPPING FESTIVAL

Patchwork + Eight billion points | live 3D performances - Culture and shows

Join us for this session made in Mapping composed of two immersive performances: one, "Patchwork" created by the French audiovisual artist B2BK, who already came to the Mapping Festival in November 2022 to animate a workshop on real-time 3D creation technologies; and the other, "Eight billions points", developed by his students of the fall, students at the HEAD-Genève. The Mapping Festival supports creation, exploration and artistic emulation in the new territories opened by advanced technologies.   From the virtual world to extended reality (XR) and augmented reality, immersive environments occupy an increasingly important place in the digital arts. The Mapping Festival has chosen to explore the relationship between the tangible and the virtual world by investing Syllepse, a 200 m2 audiovisual space, allowing a 360° projection of exceptional quality. Several performances, concerts and films will be presented there, combining different mediums to plunge the spectators into fabulous collective journeys.   Duration : about 30 mn
