We never imagined that this wonderful adventure would last so long...The AMJ association was founded on a convergence of enthusiasm...the enthusiasm of a small team of music lovers – Judith, Isabelle, Eva, Catherine, Henri, Georges, François and Dann – founding members keen to showcase the musical richness of Jewish culture to the wider public in Geneva,but also the enthusiasm of this audience, who turned out in large numbers to attend the concerts organised in 1995 as part of the ‘Year of Diversity’, an initiative spearheaded by the magistrate Mr Alain Vaissade. From the very beginning, the people of Geneva have been the driving force behind the AMJ association.It is a great pleasure to invite you to share this convivial occasion, filled with music and dance, so that we may continue to share our enthusiasm!
