Description

Due to the lack of snow and icy conditions, the pathways at the "Olaf’s Illuminated Trail" event site do not allow us to guarantee our safety standards or the quality of experience expected by the public. As a result, we regret to inform you that the event has been rescheduled to take place from Thursday, February 26, to Monday, March 2, 2026.   Practical Information: - Enjoy the bars along the route and at the Sports Center ice rink to order a hot drink during or after your family walk. - New: Refreshment bar along the trail, giant 3D decorations, a souvenir photo zone, and a new competition game. New starting location for the walk (starting from Vallon de They). - Easy walk of about 1 kilometer (approx. 30–40 minutes to complete the loop and enjoy the decorations, refreshment bar, and activities). - Sleds and dogs are prohibited along the route for safety reasons. - Olaf's Illuminated Trail is open from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (last departure for the competition game at 7:20 PM). The last visitors can stay until 8:00 PM to finish the trail.   Recommended Gear: - Warm winter clothing (depending on weather conditions, temperatures can reach about -10 degrees in the Vallon de They). - Winter shoes (bring non-slip shoes or shoes with studs/cleats). - Snowshoes are accepted.   Parking, Trail, and Signage: - A giant map and an information stand will be set up at the beginning of the trail. - Nearby parking lots. - Signage will be installed to guide you to the start of Olaf's Illuminated Trail. Directional and safety information panels will be installed along the route.
