Shanghai QiutianMath-Rock band from China The Math-Rock band Shanghai Qiutian (transl. “Shanghai autumn”) was founded in 2018 in Shanghai, by Eñaut Martí Zinkunegi and Florian Rudin. They met during a legendary Jam night at Shanghai’s Yuyintang venue, and took off on an energetic and path-finding ride through China’s independent Rock music scene, always surprising their audience with their emotionally packed and smart written songs, with a strong hint of punk DIY spirit, and own interpretations about what the industry should look like. Their music has been listened to over a Million times on Chinese social media in 2021.In the past years, they have collaborated with several important artists throughout the Math Rock Scene, including Japanese legends “Toe”, Taiwanese “Elephant Gym” and Wuhan-based “Chinese Football”. Their goal is to keep playing music for a lifetime and to follow it where it leads them, to achieve more love and positive change among the people, and to kick ass.
