Join Nicolas, one of our favourite local hiking guides, for a ramble through the magnificent Soi nature preserve. Just past sunset you might be lucky enough to hear the slumbering forest come alive with a raucous, otherworldly sound. This is the ‘belling’ of the stag, or the mating call which the stag uses to attract his mate and intimidate potential rivals. Make it a night to remember in company of the King of the Forest! Recommended equipment: - Backpack, warm, weather-appropriate clothing, hat, gloves, windproof jacket, good walking shoes, walking sticks (recommended), small blanket, pair of binoculars, headlamp, a thermos with a hot drink or a bottle of water, and a snack, if necessary. Practical information : - Easy hike of about 1 hour for the general public.- Pets are NOT allowed. Minimum 2 participants.Reservations until 5pm the day before.
