Feu au Lac 2026: INTERVALS - Theatre and performing arts - Waldhaus

Description

Le Feu au Lac is an annual multi-day event where everyone chooses their own adventure, offering music, art, performances, and expressions in all their forms. It is based on a set of 11 principles inspired by the principles of Burning Man. Burning Man was the first group of Burners and organizes an annual event that takes place in Black Rock City in the United States. Nowhere, the largest European burner event, also has a nice breakdown of these principles. It is up to each participant to create the reality they wish to experience. It is a project of an alternative society where each participant is an active actor and an integral part of the collective experience. Le Feu au Lac is an event of Experimentalia, a non-profit association entirely run by volunteers.  Fees are set freely, with a minimum amount to guarantee the event's holding. We encourage you to support our artistic projects and the running of our organization by adding the amount of your choice when purchasing your ticket. Join us to co-create this event:          Experimentalia        Discord Feu au Lac 2026: Intervals Principle The world does not exist only in things, but also between them. Objects separate. Intervals connect. This event highlights these connections: between people, ideas, gestures, and silences. Here, we are not only creating works, but making encounters happen, even brief ones. Call for Proposals We invite proposals that create relationships rather than finished objects. We are interested in: what happens between two actions unexpected encounters open or incomplete forms silences and transitions works that exist through others Possible formats: performances, installations, collective experiences, temporary situations… or any form that fully exists only in presence. What we are looking for Openings. If your proposal creates a space for encounter, it belongs here. Submit a proposal:etincelle@experimentalia.org What connects can become more real than what exists.   DATES   Dates: 17/08 ---> 25/08 2026     Build: 17-18-19 August 2026, Site access at 2 PM. August 17th. Construction takes place two days before the event. Construction begins on Monday, August 17th. Burn: 20-21-22-23 August Strike: 23-24-25 August The Strike takes place immediately after the event ends. Dismantling structures, packing everything up, and cleaning can be very satisfying after a long Burn weekend. FAMILY To ensure everyone's well-being, please contact our organization to obtain child passes if you intend to bring your child(ren) or any other minors. These passes will be necessary to access the site. It is essential to understand that to participate, all children must have a valid ticket. Admission is 2 chf for children under 6, while those aged 7 to 18 must purchase a special child ticket(30chf). To ensure the safety and well-being of minors, they will be given a distinctly colored wristband to prevent alcohol or cigarette consumption. Please note that this policy will be strictly enforced. As this is an inclusive event, children are welcome to participate. However, since we don't yet know what participants will bring and organize, we can't say in advance whether the event is suitable for "not yet adults." This assessment can vary from one parent to another. You may be hesitant about your children witnessing certain events. If you've never attended a Burn, we suggest attending without your children first so you can make an informed decision about your next one. Please note that some of the event will be restricted to minors. Link to the form etincelle@experimentalia.org ACCESS Public transport: In winter, the snow bus goes up to Schwarzenbühl. In summer, the hiking bus goes up (destination: Schwarzenbühl). http://www.gantrisch.ch/anreise/ (The driver might let you off at the WALDHAUS; it doesn't hurt to ask.) The Postbus always runs the route Schwarzenburg – Riffenmatt (stop "Kreuzung"). www.sbb.ch Then walk down a little towards the village, past the multi-purpose hall, towards Schwarzenbühl. By car: First, drive to Schwarzenburg. In Schwarzenburg, stay on the main road until you see the signpost for 'Milken Riffenmatt' after the train station. In Riffenmatt, continue straight ahead (never turn left or right). The signpost indicates the correct route to 'Schwarzenbühl'. Drive up the mountain road almost to the top. The "WALDHAUS" is located directly on the road (in the middle of a very sharp right-hand bend). ...
