Virtual Reality workshop at Artanim – With Expanding Your Horizons - Walks and visits

Welcome to Artanim, where the magic of movement becomes reality! Artanim is a high-tech centre in Geneva that uses motion capture to transform human movements into 3D animations. You move, and a virtual character comes to life as if by magic! Created in 2011, this foundation uses motion capture to: - provide treatment using virtual reality, - create games and interactive experiences, - and even run fun workshops for learning. During your visit, you will be the star of a motion capture session. You will discover how your movements are transformed into animation on screen! Then you will see how it is used to help doctors provide better care, with virtual reality exercises. And finally, you will discover our VR experiences. Ready to enter a world where your body becomes a controller?   IMPORTANT: MEETING TIME: 13H50Meeting point: Artanim, 40 chemin du Grand-Puits, 1217 Meyrin.  Depending on available space, some parents may be able to accompany the girls. This will be decided on site.   This activity is organised by Elargis tes Horizons (ETH). As a not-for-profit association, we are dedicated to providing girls with experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Around 10 times a year, we offer scientific activities or visits in the Geneva region. They are usually held on Wednesday afternoons and are open to girls aged between 10 and 18.
