Join master weavers from Numbulwar Numburindi Arts for an immersive weaving circle that shares the deep cultural knowledge and practices oNumburindi people. Guided by Louise Hamby, Janette Murrungun and her grand daughter Shania Wurramara, participants will learn to work with pandanus, while sitting together in a relaxed, communal setting. As hands weave, stories are shared - of Country, ancestors, and the techniques passed down through generations. This workshop is not only about learning a skill, but also about listening, connecting, and honouring the living culture of Numbulwar.
