Gautier Capuçon presents his best students Gautier Capucon teaches a cello excellence class at the LVMH Foundation in Paris. It trains exceptional students and helps them find their own career path. As a complement to his cello lessons, as a testimony to their hard work, Gautier handpicked the 6 best students from his first years of teaching and recently recorded a CD of works arranged or specially composed for the occasion, including Bartok, Ravel, Bernstein, Villa Lobos, Sollima, Dessner and Connesson. Part of the repertoire is also dedicated to film or video game music, such as themes from "Game of Thrones" or "League of Legends", hoping to extend access and reach new audiences and a younger generation.The CD is to be released on the Warner label in the fall of 2022. The touring period is from November 24 to December 04, 2022.Quote from Gautier himself: “Capucelli is a set of cellos that I created to play with 6 of my students from the “Cello Excellence Class” of the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Each of them comes from a different year and as a cello ensemble we have been playing together for 8 years, every year to celebrate the end of the season together. It's very moving for me to remember all the beautiful times I spent with them and very moving to see them now at the start of their professional journey and to share the stage with them. I am very proud of them; we experienced very intense moments of work, as well as laughter and smiles and we will be happy to see each other again and share the stage again.
