In the season's opening event, the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève accompanies violinist Svetlin Roussev as he shares his passion and mastery with the school's finest students, playing fragments of the concerto repertoire: Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert, Paganini, Hisaishi, Saint-Saëns and Ravel.   Svetlin Roussev is a violin professor at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He has been giving violin and chamber music masterclasses around the world and has been leading and conducting various ensembles and orchestras since 2000 in Bulgaria, France, Poland, Korea, Japan, Sweden and Macao.
