On the occasion of Saint Nicholas, EMOH LEEF presents an intimate and luminous musical evening with French musician Claire Moreau, aka Claire days (voice, guitar), performing in a duo format. Rather than leaning on traditional folklore, the Atelier turns towards another kind of “folk”: the one Claire shapes through a saturated, hybrid form of writing, stretching towards indie and breaking free from genre boundaries. DJ ISIS, a discreet yet significant figure on the Neuchâtel scene, will open the evening with a delicate musical selection. A cultural journalist, passionate collector and conservatory-trained wind instrumentalist, she will offer a sensitive prelude designed as an awakening, an invitation to enter the evening gently. For several years, Claire days has been developing a musical journey where indie, saturated folk and experimental pop meet. Everything begins with a guitar, a voice and a sensitivity she now fully embraces. Her debut album Emotional territory (FIP Selection, 2022) led her on tour alongside artists such as Ásgeir, Sigur Rós, Herman Dune, Jay Jay Johansson and November Ultra. Her French EP À l’ombre (2023) affirmed a writing style both intimate and bold, navigating between contemporary folk and more adventurous textures. In 2025, Claire returns with I remember something, a new album co-produced with English artist Fink and released on her label CONTREJOURS. The record explores the ways memories settle, shift and become emotional material. Moving between clarity and turbulence, fragility and reconciliation, the songs form a landscape where words, voice and textures intertwine with precision. For this concert at EMOH LEEF, Claire will appear in a duo with Ugo Del Rosso (voice, bass, keyboards, electric guitar), a multi-instrumentalist who frequently collaborates with her. This duo format highlights the precision of her writing, the sincerity of her voice and a luminous intensity that emerges naturally through closeness. The evening will unfold in direct connection with the artists. Here, the performance extends beyond the stage: the audience can exchange thoughts, ask questions and discover intentions, processes and trajectories. These direct, rare and precious encounters are part of the venue’s identity and give its concerts their deeply human dimension. Conceived as a moment of warmth at the threshold of the cold season, this evening embodies what makes EMOH LEEF unique: a living space where listening takes on new forms, where art becomes conversation, and where subtle, luminous and sincere bonds are woven.
