Elchin Shirinov Trio  Jazz pianist, composer and arranger Elchin Shirinov will perform in Geneva together with Haggai Cohen-Milo on double-bass and Ofri Nehemya on drums. He was included in “All About Jazz”’s December 2022 poll of the top 200 favourite living pianists in the world. While touring with famous jazz double bassist Avishai Cohen’s trio from 2018 to 2022, he recorded 3 albums as part of the trio, as well as his two own albums “Maiden Tower” and “Waiting”.  He toured internationally both as part of the trio and as a solo artist and performed at such venues as Blue Note New York, Blue Note Tokyo,  Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz a Vienne, Berlin Philarmonie concert hall, etc. Influenced by such musicians as Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock and Brad Mehldau, Elchin is passionate and thoughtful, always playing with care while exploring and creating a unique symbiose of ethnic folk music with fresh touch of jazz.
