Simon Trpčeski has been hailed not only for his powerful virtuosity and deeply expressive approach, but also for his charismatic stage presence. His numerous tours present him as a soloist of large orchestras. His solo recitals are rarer and his coming to Geneva is a first, hence the singularity of his concert on February 2, 2024. Simon will present a repertoire around variations, taken from his latest CD, hailed by critics. Launched onto the international stage twenty years ago on the BBC New Generation Artists programme, in an incredibly fast-paced career that spans no cultural or musical boundaries, Simon Trpčeski has collaborated with more than a hundred orchestras on four continents and with today's great conductors. Several recordings have received prestigious awards: Diapason d'Or, Gramophone: Editor's Choice and Debut Album for concertos by Rachmaninoff, Prokovieff, and others.
