Description
Fondation Opale welcomes Caroline Corbasson for an artist talk about her artistic practice, at the crossroads of contemporary art and space science. Through drawing, photography and video, Caroline Corbasson explores our relationship with the cosmos, celestial landscapes and scientific images, questioning the way humanity observes, represents and imagines the universe. Her work, informed by collaborations with scientific and space institutions, offers a sensitive reflection on our place in the universe. A French-Canadian artist, Caroline Corbasson is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris and Central Saint Martin in London. She develops a visual artistic practice inspired by astronomy and science. The recipient of several residencies and grants, she has collaborated with observatories and space agencies, and exhibits her work internationally.
