The Pavillon stage turns into a dancehall with performers and DJs from Jamaica, brought together by Spanish choreographer Tamara Alegre. She’s created an assertive, merry and inclusive space – a stage that becomes a dancefloor, honouring a cultural and political movement born in Kingston’s working-class neighbourhoods during the late 70's. Dynamic Legends, Miss Rose, Shanky Equanoxx, DJ Pappi and their guests will electrify the venue with their music and dance – expressing joy, anger and the pride of daily resistance and triumphs. A celebration of dancehall’s playful spontaneity, whose rallying power and raw beauty bring the margins back to the centre.
