La chorégraphe Ruth Childs et l’artiste plasticienne Cécile Bouffards’intéressent à nos péchés mignons, marottes, passe-temps et lubies,à la mémoire corporelle et aux survivances des folklores dans lemonde contemporain. Tout à la fois installation et performance pourtrois danseuses – Cosima Grand, Marta Capaccioli et mona miocafelah – Such a Devoted Bunch interroge par les gestes et les objets lesmécanismes de dévotion et d’obsession.Nos rituels, hobbies et manies, qu’ils soient ancestraux ouanecdotiques, y deviennent des supports à la création de communautéset de moments d’enthousiasme collectif. La pièce rassemble un bunch(bouquet, grappe, touffe, ensemble) fantasque de corps et de formesqui se répondent, se repoussent et s’étreignent. Choreographer Ruth Childs and visual artist Cécile Bouffard look atour hobbies, quirks, pastimes and whims, as well as at bodily memoryand the lingering traces of folklore. An installation and performance forthree dancers, Such a Devoted Bunch questions the mechanisms ofenthusiasm and obsession through actions and objects.
