The vibrant spirit of the New York jazz scene returns for its second edition on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva with the Rolle Jazz Fest. Set in the enchanting surroundings of Château de Rolle, this four-day event will feature some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians, offering an intimate experience where the audience surrounds the artists. 5pm Surprise Guest Salle du Conseil7.30pm Antonio Faraò Salle du Conseil A virtuoso pianist and a major figure in European jazz, Antonio Faraò has established himself on the international scene through his dazzling technique and boundless creativity. Winner of the Martial Solal International Jazz Piano Competition, he has performed with leading artists such as Jack DeJohnette, Chris Potter, and Marcus Miller. His appearance at the Festival de Jazz de Rolle promises an exceptional performance by one of today’s most respected jazz pianists. 9.30pm Luis Bonilla & Hector Martignon’s Foreign Affair Trio Salle des Chevaliers Internationally acclaimed trombonist Luis Bonilla joins forces with Hector Martignon’s Foreign Affairs Trio for a project of remarkable musical intensity. Bonilla has performed with jazz legends including McCoy Tyner, Dizzy Gillespie, and Freddie Hubbard, while Martignon brings a rich palette shaped by his Latin and jazz roots. Together, they promise a vibrant and sophisticated concert at the crossroads of jazz, soul, and Latin traditions.   Festivities begin earlier with a master class, performances by talented local artists, food and drinks, creating the perfect atmosphere to soak up the jazz vibe before the main concerts.
