The vibrant spirit of the New York jazz scene returns for its second edition on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva with the Rolle Jazz Fest. Set in the enchanting surroundings of Château de Rolle, this four-day event will feature some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians, offering an intimate experience where the audience surrounds the artists. 6pm Jazz Passage Lake view stage A musical journey exploring the nuances between classical music, jazz, Latin jazz, and Brazilian rhythms. A bold fusion of genres that transcends musical boundaries. 7.30pm Omri Mor & Christos Rafalides Salle du Conseil A unique meeting at the Festival, Christos Rafalides and Omri Mor bring together contemporary jazz with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern traditions. Vibraphonist Christos Rafalides is known for his lyrical and percussive style, while Omri Mor blends modern jazz with North African and Eastern influences. Together, they offer an intense and refined musical dialogue, full of freedom and depth. 9.30pm Nowhere Jazz Quintet Salle des Chevaliers Bogotá’s Nowhere Jazz Quintet is one of the most daring and creative projects on the Colombian jazz scene, blending modern jazz, free improvisation, and Latin American influences. Founded in 2009 by drummer and composer Juan Camilo Anzola, the group has earned acclaim for its virtuosity and bold musical vision. Their appearance at the Festival de Jazz de Rolle brings inventive energy and a fresh international perspective. Festivities begin earlier with a master class, performances by talented local artists, food and drinks, creating the perfect atmosphere to soak up the jazz vibe before the main concerts.
