The best downhill mountain bikers face off at the European Championships in Champéry! The Valais is gearing up for an exceptional 2024, offering a sporting calendar packed with mountain bike events! Several international-level races will be hosted by Valais resorts, including the UEC Mountain Bike Downhill European Championships in Champéry from Friday 9th to Sunday August 11th. In addition to the various races organized during the competition, spectacular Trial performances, family events, initiations and concerts will entertain the public on the Grand-Paradis parking lot in Champéry. The ticket entitles you to: - Access to the event area (Grand-Paradis sector) - A return train ticket on the TPC line from Monthey town center to Champéry cable car - The shuttle bus from Champéry cable car to Grand-Paradis sector - Grand-Paradis chairlift (access to the start) - Valid for both days of the event from Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August 2024 (Friday is not open to the public). For those wishing to reach the event area by mountain bike from another Portes du Soleil resort, a MTB day pass at the special rate of 35€ will also be available. This includes: - The Portes du Soleil mountain bike day pass - Access to the event area (Grand Paradis sector) - Access to the Grand-Paradis chairlift (access to the start) Practical information: - Catering and drinks on site- Giant screen and live broadcast- Entertainment and exhibitors
