Description

There’s nothing little about Le Petit Ruan! This day-long hike will give you a taste of everything, from easy forest trails to alpine scree to glaciers.   Accompanied by an expert on alpine summits, you will take on the challenge of climbing Le Petit Ruan. Your expedition will be punctuated by passages alternating between footpaths, rocky stretches and a glacier. An extraordinary one-day experience in the heart of a sumptuous landscape!   Required equipment:A harness, crampons, ice axe, helmet, clothes adapted to the weather conditions, a windbreaker, gloves, mountain boots (high boots with good soles), a headlamp and sun creamAlpine walking with glacier passages (roped off). More demanding than a simple walk. Rating: PD (not very difficult) Approximately 17km with 1600m of ascent Overnight stay at the Susanfe hut.   Reservations are open until 5pm the day before, minimum 4 people.
