Description

A workshop devoted to empathy, reflection, and creative expression. Led collaboratively by a teacher and a writer, it guides children and teenagers through thoughtful conversations about empathy, compassion, and global awareness. The workshop is inspired by the little book A Million Kites, a collection of poems and testimonies from children living in a war zone. Using a gentle, age-appropriate pedagogical approach, the workshop invites students to step into someone else’s lived experience — especially those facing adversity — and to reflect on what it means to understand, feel, and care about another person’s perspective.
