Description

For young girls between 11 and 15 years old   Mission: Wedding Seating Plan at the UNIGE Mathscope – With Elargis tes Horizons March 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM   Everyone knows that famous Aunt Ada: the one who doesn’t like anyone and whom few people like! Which table should she be placed at for the upcoming wedding without causing family drama?Ada can’t stand Blaise, Blaise doesn’t want to sit near Grace, and Grace, for her part, sulks if David is around… The wedding is approaching, and a single seating mistake could trigger a real family storm!Your mission (if you choose to accept it): create the perfect seating plan without triggering a family catastrophe! To succeed, you’ll discover a tool as powerful as it is clever: graph theory. With points, connections, and a bit of color, you’ll learn how to turn this puzzle into a winning strategy. And the best part? Graph theory isn’t just for imaginary weddings! It’s used for social networks, search engines, and GPS. Math, yes… but as an investigation, logic challenge, and team effort! Ready to take on the mission?
