Description

A unique fusion: breath, strings, earth Anatole Bouduban, bassoon – Jacques Bouduban, cello – Olivier Sidore, didgeridoo, known as the yidaki among the Yolŋu Indigenous people of northern Australia. An outstanding trio, creating music born of silence, wandering, and light. Bassoon, cello, and didgeridoo come together in an organic alchemy: the ancient breath of the world, the resonance of wood, the vibration of strings. The complicity between them is evident. Their sounds intertwine to create a grounded, vibrant music. It evokes caves, forest, and sea — a world both ancient and alive. You can almost hear the rustling of leaves, the discreet step of an animal, a gentle passing breeze. Then, suddenly, a soaring movement, a burst of light, like a song coming from above.  Anatole explores fragility and deep emotions. Jacques shapes sound and meaning, building improvised worlds. Olivier, deeply inhabited by the yidaki and its nomadic roots, opens a path toward the origins. Together, they trace a journey linking earth and sky, simplicity and mystery. A living music, rooted and resonant.  The concert will be followed by an apéritif in the foyer
