MAPPING FESTIVAL

Workshop Blender & Geometry Node - Workshops and courses

Discover, learn and get to grips with parametric animation in Blender using "Geometry Nodes". The aim of this one-day workshop is to explore the technical and creative possibilities offered by Blender in the context of 3D motion design. Since the release of version 3.0, Blender has become a benchmark in procedural creation through "Geometry Nodes", a fully parametric system for tool development, animation and nodal modeling. By its very nature, "Geometry Nodes" is a particularly technical tool with a wide range of applications. It is therefore particularly interesting to add its use to any type of creative process in image-related fields. Speakers : Floating Point Studio | Valerio Meschi & Léonard Guyot Duration : 8h Timetable : 09:00 - 18:00 | Lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00 Technical level of participants - Prerequisites : - Intermediate or advanced level in Blender or - Intermediate or advanced level in equivalent software (C4D, Maya, Houdini, etc.) and familiarity with the Blender interface Materials required of participants : Laptop or mobile workstation. Windows, Mac or Linux Spec minimum: 8 core processor | 16GB ram Graphics card recommended but not necessary. The use of a mouse is strongly recommended.
