Description

On an easy walk in the footsteps of Agnès, Nathalie Nemeth-Défago – a herbalist and mountain guide in the valley – will introduce you to edible wild plants and those that have been used in the valley for medicinal purposes since time immemorial.   After the foraging, it will be time to indulge your taste buds. Whilst you prepare an aperitif using your harvest, the Coquoz restaurant in Planachaux – a pioneer in wild plant cuisine in the region – will concoct a highly original and delicious three-course meal, drawing on their extensive experience in fine dining and edible wild plants.   You’ll leave with recipes, tips on identifying plants, and amusing and surprising anecdotes about the uses of local plants.
