Description
Sarah Kofman, a French philosopher and author of major works on philosophy, psychoanalysis, literature, and feminism, claimed that her biography was her bibliography. In Kofman. Double Bind, however, Katarzyna Kalwat begins with her personal story: a childhood divided between two streets, two mothers, and two identities—between her Jewish mother and the French woman who hid her during the war. Far from a simple biographical portrait, the performance explores how we shape our identities in the face of our legacies, our sense of belonging, and our traumas.Followed by a post-performance conversation with Katarzyna Kalwat and her actresses. Moderated by Victor Inisan, a journalist at Libération. Kofman. Double Bind © E. D. Zdjęcia
